Joining the practice in May 2018, Mai is our newest addition to the Canberra Podiatry team. Originally from Thailand, Mai had resided on the Central Coast NSW for the past 10 years where she completed secondary school education and a Bachelor of Podiatry from the University of Newcastle in 2017.

Growing up with a great interest to work in the health field, Mai chose a career in podiatry as it gives her the ability to provide a broad range of comprehensive treatments including treatments of nail and skin disorders, visual gait analysis, orthotic therapy, diabetes assessments and nail surgeries as well as allowing her to directly interact and develop a close relationships to her patients which she thoroughly enjoys

Mai’s friendly and gentle approach allows her to relate well with patients of all ages.

Mai is also has a passion for volunteer work. Throughout high school and university, Mai had participated in several volunteering programs including fundraising for a homeless shelter in 2013, providing foot checks for local Community NAIDOC Day and volunteered as a student mentor in 2017.

Mai is an AHPRA registered podiatrist, is registered as a provider with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and is a Professional Member of the Australian Podiatry Association (APodA) NSW & ACT.
