Patrick Doan

Podiatrist | Athletic Performance Coach 

Born and bred in Canberra, Patrick joined the team in January 2016 taking pride in providing caring, compassionate and complete nail and skin care, including ingrown nails, callus, corns and fungal infections. Patrick also has a special interest in sports podiatry and biomechanics, bringing with him a wealth of experience as an athlete in a variety of sports at a competitive level such as tennis, golf, soccer and AFL. He is also a keen road cyclist.

Patrick graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Podiatry in 2014. During his time at university he was an active member of the student community and served a term as the President of the CSU Podiatry Club. With comprehensive experience in sports medicine and high performance sport, he is also an ASCA accredited Strength & Conditioning coach, graduating from the  Australian Institute of Sport.

Patrick was previously the Head Sports Trainer and Rehabilitative Strength & Conditioning Coach at the Wodonga Bulldogs Football Club for season 2012-13 and has been a Strength & Conditioning Coach with the Belconnen Magpies Football Club between 2013-2016. Patrick has recently been appointed as Athletic Rehabilitation Coordinator for the Canberra Raiders Under-16 and 18s squads and is managing all aspects of rehabilitation. Patrick’s special focus in sports medicine is being furthered as he is completing a Master’s of High Performance Sport at the Australian Catholic University.

Patrick is a professional member of the Australian Podiatry Association (NSW & ACT); Australasian Academy of Podiatric ports Medicine (AAPSM), Australian Strength & Conditioning Association (ASCA) and Sports Medicine Australia (SMA).
