No you do not. You can call up and book in. In addition if you have a chronic medical condition your GP can provide a Medicare plan for you to have part of your podiatry visit subsidised. The same is if you are with DVA.

Yes we have on the spot claiming with our HICAPS or Tyro machines.

If you have a GP Management Plan in place with your General Practitioner/doctor Medicare will cover a portion of the consultation fee.

Full payment is required at the time of consultation. Our reception staff will then lodge your Medicare claim on your behalf.

Medicare will then process the rebate into your nominated bank account.

We have an initial consultation in either a general service or a biomechanical/sports service.

The general service consists of general footcare, foot health screening, diabetes assessment, footwear advice and assessment if further treatment is required i.e. laser therapy, surgery etc.

The biomechanical/sport consults general consist of a full assessment of your walking/running patterns, joint assessments and muscle testing in conjunction with feedback on alignment. This consult may also consist of education on your complaint, footwear prescription and discussion whether orthotics and/or strength/flexibility programs may help.

Our initial assessments range from $95-$140 with additional costs for other services such as orthotic therapy, nail surgery, laser treatment, shockwave etc.

We certainly do. We have a strong base of sports physicians, doctors, orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists and chiropractors as part of a team plan if you need it.
